Petrel 2010.2 - Now Available

News from SLB: Petrel 2010.2 is now available on Windows 7. Petrel continues to bring you more new science in an even more productive environment, to quickly and accurately delineate and model geological structures—whether you are working on a new prospect or a field development project

Take advantage of new workflows in Petrel 2010:
-Create coherent fault interpretations and watertight structural frameworks—build your model while interpreting and interactively generate fault planes and truncations.
-Use the new Structural and Fault Analysis module built on Rock Deformation Research (RDR) technology to QC your interpretation and validate your geometries.
-Automatically convert your structural framework to a corner-point grid to populate your model for ECLIPSE* fluid flow simulation.
-Add fault seal predictions using core calibrated functions for more correct fluid flow patterns when simulating.
-Apply uncertainty analysis at any point in your workflow to make more confident decisions.

You can request a demo on the new Structural and Fault Analysis module from your SLB representative.
Petrel 2010.2 is now certified on Windows 7.
