Post How to merge two seismic cubes in Petrel 2010
I have two overlapping seismic cubes and I would like to merge them so I can do uniform attribute calculations and volume renders. Furthermore this will be easier when interpreting and auto tracking. I believe merging these seismic cubes is possible, so please help me...

thanks

You can do this in Petrel 2010 or using the Blueback toolbox.

Using Petrel 2010 you need to insert a new seismic survey and then in the settings define the geometry (3 x,y/inline,xline pairs). After that, drag your volumes into this empty survey. Then
select them both and right click>Merge Seismic Cubes.

Using the Blueback toolbox there is a special workflow and it will even work if the cubes in- and x-lines are not oriented the same. There is a two week free trial license available through the ocean store and also see: http://www.blueback-reservoir.com/index ... ck-toolbox

hope this helped!
