Job Description
Our Client - An internationally recognised Oil and Gas Operator with operations in North America, Africa and Australasia. My client is recruiting for a Senior Geoscientist in South Africa with extensive experience of Sub-Saharan Africa Assets.
Job Description - The successful candidate will participate in detailed and integrated geoscience interpretation of operated and non-operated fields. You will provide structural, stratigraphic and geological facies input to accurately populate static reservoir models and carry out studies to provide geoscience input into acreage evaluation, prospect evaluation, well proposals, reservoir development studies and field development plans.
Candidate Requirements - The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree and have a technical understanding of the upstream exploration business, particularly in the area of geological risk and uncertainty, and in the integrated subsurface workflows for exploration and development projects. Experience in partnership/JV operations would also be a distinct advantage.
