We are working with a leading exploration and production company who are looking for two experienced Geoscientists to join their dynamic team in London.
Key Requirements
Bachelor degree in Geology or Earth Science
• Took part in a Geosciences Graduate Programme with a large independent E&P company would be advantageous
• 8+ years of relevant experience in E&P
• Have African deep-water experience (or similar basins)
• Experience in the exploration evaluation through the entire workflow (from planning regional evaluation through seismic planning, operations, processing and interpretation, to prospect generation to finally well planning, operations and post well assessment)
• Experience in joint ventures or partnership operations
• Experience in managing and evaluating exploration PSC/As
• Knowledge in interpretation of well log and seismic data from a variety of depositional and tectonic systems
• Current capability with a range of geosciences interpretation and modelling
• Data room evaluation would be advantageous
Job Description
We are working with a leading exploration and production company who are looking for two experienced Geoscientists to join their dynamic team in London. The key purpose of this role will be to provide geosciences support to operated and non-operated assets. The Geoscientist would be also expected to provide quality evaluation of farm-ins, corporate acquisition, new venture opportunities or regional studies.
Responsibilities
• Participate in the consistent, detailed and integrated geosciences interpretation of operated and non-operated assets
• Manage the E&P’s operated and non-operated assets with regards to technical aspects
• Provide technical advice to management, new ventures and commercial groups
• Support farm-in and data rooms
• Work together closely with geosciences groups in other countries
