Job Description
Our client is a successful oil and gas service company who are dedicated to helping clients capitalise on the value of their oil and gas assets. They are seeking a Principle Mining Hydrogeologist to join their team in Denver, Colorado, in a permanent position. They provide expert consulting services and technologies for the exploration, development, management, and environmental protection of water resources. Their teams of water and geoscience professionals provide private and public sector clients with cost-effective solutions to address water supply and disposal challenges. Being the world's largest subsurface technology company, our client has been working with major mining companies, developing fit-for-purpose solutions focused on mine water management and subsurface characterization.
Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Principle Mining Hydrogeologist will be responsible for providing professional hydrogeological support for a wide range of mining projects, managing technical experts, leading business development and building client rapport.
Essential Job Experience:
*Bachelor Degree in Earth Sciences or similar with MSc or PhD in Hydrogeology or other relevant discipline
*Minimum 15 years consulting experience in an international company
*Expert in at least one consulting field
*Expertise in mining hydrogeology, hydrology and water resource management
*Excellent knowledge of the mining industry
*Hands on experience in operational mine dewatering, slope depressurization, groundwater management solutions, underground mine development, groundwater management challenges
*Experience in geotechnical work flows and applications relevant to open pit slope design
*Strong business development, commercial and interpersonal skills
*Fluency in English
