We are seeking a functional leader for an exploration team (generalist background) with a strong seismic interpretation background.
Key Requirements
15 years experience in G&G.
Strong seismic interpretation skills, AVO, Seismic inversion.
Experience managing younger professionals.
Track record in oil & gas discoveries, preferably in frontier territories.
Experience in developing a stage gate process is a plus.
Regional prospectivity evaluations.
Job Description
My client is an integrated International operator based in southern Europe involved in deepwater and offshore exploration across Africa, South America and Europe.
With more than 30+ E&P projects engaged worldwide, the exponential growth of the organization is rapid.
The main focus of the business and the driving force behind the success is pioneering technologies and pushing the boundaries in offshore / deepwater exploration.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluation of new venture opportunities across South America and Africa, with some involvement in Gulf of Mexico.
- Reassess existing asset portfolio which includes major deepwater discoveries and projects.
- Involvement in implementing a stage gate process in a multidisciplinary team.
- Looking at farm-in opportunities across the business.
