Key Requirements
Desired Skills & Experience
•Master’s degree in Geology or Geophysics.
•Must have 10+ years of oil and gas exploration and development experience working with or in a business cross-functional team or technology group.
•Deepwater experience is preferred, with preference for Gulf of Mexico expertise.
•Must have familiarity with workstation-based interpretation systems and discipline-integrated reservoir modeling workflows.
•Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, organizational, planning, project management, and problem solving skills.
•Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced work environment, and able to handle multiple projects.
•Must be proficient in MS Office software, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
•
Salary range is dependent on experience and current verifiable income.
Job Description
In this key role as a Team Leader, you will...
•Coordinate technical project work plans and monitor progress.
•Serve as a liaison with partners, third party contractors and cross-functional teams to ensure project work plans are executed to a high standard.
•Assist in setting work priorities.
•Recommend data collection activity such as proposed wells, seismic data acquisition or reprocessing.
•Provide technical and strategic assessment and input to management team.
•Ensure projects are in compliance with corporate guidelines and processes.
•Maintain excellent relationships with partners and serve as the point of contact and coordinator for partner subsurface technical discussions.
•Provide mentoring, training, and technical assistance to staff.
•Monitor and track team attendance, training and travel plans.
