CCL has been requested by an international oil and gas company to provide a Senior Exploration / Operations Geologist to be based in Angola. This is a Staff position with excellent T + C's.
Key Requirements
At least 10-15 years’ industry experience.
Job Description
The ideal candidate will be skilled in some if not all of the following: Prospect / lead generation and evaluation, Well planning and supervision, Pore pressure prediction, Reserve estimation and risking. As well as well planning, rig and VSP surveying, mud logging, geophysical logging witnessing of open and cased hole, casing and TD definition, conventional and sidewall coring, perforations, fishing operations, sidetracking, final reporting, service company relations, data acquisition planning, pore pressure prediction and Quality Control of well planning and final well reports. Interdisciplinary project team management.
