Senior Depth Imaging Geophysicist
I have an exciting and challenging role for a Senior Depth Imaging Geophysicist to join a major Geo Service Company, based in London. I am looking for experienced geophysicist candidates with a strong background in Depth Imaging. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing Time and Depth seismic datasets meeting and exceeding client expectations while maintaining delivery schedules.
As the Senior Depth Imaging Geophysicist, you will be responsible for taking a senior role in the processing of seismic depth imaging projects and ensuring that projects are conducted to the highest levels of quality. You will need to be up to speed with the most up to date technology and developments in the industry to help provide the best possible solutions and services as well as having a proven track record in successfully delivering seismic projects.
Role requirements:
EU Nationals only
8+ years of experience
Proven success in managing depth imaging projects
Technical knowledge - signal processing, demultiples, imaging
Experienced working with both 2D and 3D seismic data
Bachelor's Degree in related field (e.g. Geophysics)
Job responsibilities:
Able to take a leading role in processing projects
Mentoring junior colleagues as required
Managing and conducting processing activities for seismic depth imaging projects
Quality control for ongoing projects
Collaborating with clients to achieve best possible service and project results
