Senior Depth Imaging Geophysicist - Houston, TX - $Competitive
This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading international oil and gas company that is currently looking for an exceptional candidate to join them as Senior Depth Imaging Geophysicist. My client would like to speak with experienced depth imaging geophysicists capable of taking on a senior-level position at their office in Houston. The successful candidate for this requirement will have a proven depth imaging background and strong technical abilities.
Job Requirements:
Organizing depth imaging activity and ensuring quality of results
Producing accurate forecasts and reports
Design efficient processing sequences and testing flows
Keeping up to date with industry developments and relevant technical knowledge
Guide and mentor colleagues in a technical and management capacity
Developing and extending client relations
Qualifications:
6+ years of industry experience
Seismic data processing
Depth imaging
Able to guide and mentor colleagues
Developing client relations
Essential Job Experience:
Previous project management or team leadership experience
Proven success in leading / directing projects
Experience on international projects
Strong geophysical and geological understanding
Expert knowledge of signal processing, demultiple and imaging
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant subject (e.g. geophysics)
Additional Skills:
Language skills - fluent in English (written and oral)
Foreign language skills - knowledge of an additional foreign language would be beneficial
