Standard Resolution Density Standoff (DSOZ) |
This is a log of measurements along a well bore (a well-log). The acronym DSOZ can be found in any (ASCII) log files provided by the logging company. The acronym stands for 'Standard Resolution Density Standoff'. This log is very common in the industry. The values of this log represent the distance from a sensor to the medium being investigated, such as from a logging sonde to the wall of the borehole. Concluding, this is a measure of the amount of physical separation between two objects, usually maintained in order to control their interaction.This log usually has the unit 'Cylinder Diameter'.
