Job Description
Head Hydrocarbon Maturation
Our client is an ambitious exploration and production company with an impressive growth strategy for their assets in Malaysia. Due to an increased focus on their exploration projects they are seeking a Head of Hydrocarbon Maturation to join their Kuala Lumpur office.
This is a senior role, requiring more than 20 years of industry experience. The ideal applicant will have:
*A bachelors degree in a geoscience discipline
*20 years E&P experience
*In-depth experience managing various aspects of the E&P value chain
*Strong command in exploration G&G
*Broad knowledge of subsurface and surface disciplines
The selected Head of Prospect Maturation will be responsible for:
*Formulation of overall plans for realization of undiscovered resources
*Identification of projects for the growth funnel through value-creating development proposals
*Driving integration of exploration and development teams for the resource maturation process
*Interfacing with the asset production operations teams and solicit feedback to venture teams on near field project prioritization
*Tracking project progress and undertaking intervention to ensure alignment with execution plans
