Multinational Oil & Gas Services Company is looking for a Technician (Seismic QC) to work offshore Brazil.
Job Description
Experience needed:
- Good experience with marine seismic acquisition;
- Understanding of electronics and geophysical acquisition principles.
- Understanding of Seismic Acquisition systems.
- Ability to produce clear and accurate written reports.
- Ability to learn new skills, and to work with limited supervision.
- Fluent English mandatory
The role will involve:
- Operate and maintain the acquisition equipment to ensure survey goals are met.
- Assist in maintenance and deployment of the in-sea equipment.
- Ensure that the acquisition products meet the necessary quality acceptance criteria, and that consistent accurate and complete logs are maintained at all times.
- Frequent and world wide travel, sometimes on short notice.
