World renowned global business is seeking an experienced strategic energy professional to leverage their knowledge and experience of reservoir engineering software and modelling solutions from the E&P industry to help support and drive new growth and opportunities within their technical energy engineering solution portfolio.
Key Requirements
The successful candidate will be accountable for the following key responsibilities:
•Work closely with a team of Account Managers, responsible for supporting client engineers using award winning reservoir modelling and production optimisation software applications
•Conduct one-on-one and web-based support sessions and technical demonstrations for clients
•Teach technical courses to groups of engineers at private companies or for public software training courses
•Provide telephone software support to clients
•Facilitate client feedback sessions in order to enhance future software development
•Travel as needed to support sales in the region.

Job Description: Technical Advisor - Pre-Sales Support - Oil & Gas Reservoir Engineering /Production Optimisation

Qualifications & Skills:
The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, professional with exceptional people, follow-up and communication skills. If you are an Engineer or Technologist with a keen interest in developing into a technical expert, this is the ideal career for you! We seek the following attributes and experience:
•Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum, Chemical Engineering or Petroleum Engineering Technology
•Minimum 5 years’ experience of Oil & Gas experience, preferably in reservoir engineering, upstream reservoir, and production engineering
•Strong relationship building skills
•Experience with Reservoir Engineering software solutions would be an asset
•Excellent communication skills – presentation, verbal, listening and written
•Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of self-motivation
•Enthusiastic, energetic, strong team player capable of working in and contributing effectively to a team environment
