They are currently recruiting for the position of Senior Production Technologist, based in Kazakhstan.
Job Description
- Responsible for leading the Production Optimization Team, and for delivering Production Technology solutions to the Business Unit.
- Responsible for identification of production optimization opportunities for the field, and executing well interventions Initiation Memo's (surveillance proposals, workover proposals, etc.) and for assisting Drilling & Well services in planning and (on occasion) execution of such interventions.
- Utilize well and reservoir surveillance tools for efficient monitoring of field data, and to manage well test approvals and artificial lift system optimization (ESPs, SRPs).
- Lead development of production forecasts, and production efficiency reports.
- Provide assistance to project teams in support of development studies.
- Liaising with Production Operations/Support, Drilling/Well Services, & Facility Engineering.
- Training and coaching of less experienced staff.
Skills & Experience
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Petroleum) required.
- Graduate degrees preferred.
- Vast relevant experience in Production Technology/Petroleum Eng.
- Experience with well & reservoir surveillance, stimulation, workovers, etc.
- Experience with artificial lift systems (ESPs, SRPs).
- Experience with Eclipse, Saphir, Prosper, as well as, MS Office Suite.
- Resolve, GAP, OFM, Babelfish, XSPOC, and/or S-Rod experience a plus.
- Prior experience with mentoring young Engineers, as well as, project leadership.
- Fluent in English - written and spoken.
- An effective team player with drive, and excellent communication skills.
This is a permanent position.
The salary for this position is negotiable.
