New Ventures Geoscientist - Team Lead Position
My client is an international operator with a large presence in the Indian oil and gas sector. They also have and interests in a range of international locations. They are looking for a Team Lead New Ventures Geoscientist to use leading edge geological exploration technologies.
The role will require the selected applicant to oversee sub-groups in the technical evaluation of opportunities. You will be assisting in future work programs and budgets whilst mentoring junior staff.
The successful candidate will have expert understanding of sedimentary basin evolution and petroleum systems analysis, regional evaluation and regional geological processes and workflows. Additional requirements include:
*An MSC or PHD in Geoscience.
*20 + years experience across a range of international basins and depositional systems.
*Ability to integrate geophysical and geological data to develop play maps and petroleum system models.
*Significant experience with an operating oil company
*Expertise in ArcGIS spatial analysis and database management skills.
*Experience of working in 3D visualization environment such as Petrel.
*Commercial, project implementation and cost awareness.
