Job Description
My client is a large international oil and gas operator with a strong global presence. They are currently in the process of expanding their Brunei office and as a result are seeking an Electro Magnetic Geophysicist to join the team. The successful Geophysicist will act as a principal expert predominantly responsible for providing analysis of CSEM data.
Responsibilities for this role will include:
*Carry out quantitative analysis of non-seismic geophysical data
*Work as key focal point for non-seismic geophysics
*Execute CSEM inversion
*Supervise and develop junior staff
*Participate in global expertise networks
In order to carry out these tasks effectively the Geophysicist will already hold certain skills and experience. These include:
*12+ years of experience working in the oil and gas industry
*Tertiary degree in Geophysical related discipline
*Ability to work well as part of team
*Strong written and spoken English communication skills
