Warning Flag for Shear (WFSH)

This is the name of a log measured along a well bore (a well-log). You could have found the code WFSH in your log evaluation software or your corporate datastores. The acronym stands for 'Warning Flag for Shear'. This log is not used too often in the industry.

The values of this log represent the indicator of which of two or more conditions exist, or of which option has been selected. Most flags are binary in nature with a Yes/No possibility.

This log in unitless. Either the log measurements can not be expressed with a unit (eg. a ratio) or the unit is unknown to us.
