Warning Flag for Compressional (WFC)

This is an abbreviation for a well log used in the oil and gas industry. The code WFC is a unique identifier to recognize this particular log and can be found in any (ASCII) log files provided by the logging company. The abreviatin stands for 'Warning Flag for Compressional'. This log is not used too often in the industry.

The values of this log represent the indicator of which of two or more conditions exist, or of which option has been selected. Most flags are binary in nature with a Yes/No possibility.

This log in unitless. Either the log measurements can not be expressed with a unit (eg. a ratio) or the unit is unknown to us.
