An exciting and challenging opportunity has become available with one of the leading upstream Oil and Gas companies within the industry. We are currently seeking a Senior Geophysicist – Seismic Interpreter for their operations based in Abu Dhabi.
• Position: Senior Geophysicist – Seismic Interpreter
• Start: ASAP
• Duration: 6 months
• Status: residential
• Location: 3 blocks located onshore and offshore Abu Dhabi. Are you interested and available?

Key Requirements


• More than 10 years’ experience in petroleum operation industry as a Geophysicist.
• Experience with main reservoirs (Thamama Group, Wasia Group and Sila Group) in UAE.
• Fluency in writing and speaking English.
• Familiar with software (Petrel and Charisma).


Job Description


• To conduct geophysical interpretation studies.

• To participate in quality control for seismic processing and seismic interpretation.

• To define and evaluate exploration and appraisal prospects in the concessions.
