I have two overlapping seismic cubes and I would like to merge them so I can do uniform attribute calculations and volume renders. Furthermore this will be easier when interpreting and auto tracking. I believe merging these seismic cubes is possible, so please help me... thanks |

You can do this in Petrel 2010 or using the Blueback toolbox. Using Petrel 2010 you need to insert a new seismic survey and then in the settings define the geometry (3 x,y/inline,xline pairs). After that, drag your volumes into this empty survey. Then select them both and right click>Merge Seismic Cubes. Using the Blueback toolbox there is a special workflow and it will even work if the cubes in- and x-lines are not oriented the same. There is a two week free trial license available through the ocean store and also see: http://www.blueback-reservoir.com/index ... ck-toolbox hope this helped! |
