Job Description

Specialist Exploration Geophysicist

Representing a Global operator based in KL, Malaysia; Leap29 are currently looking to recruit a Specialist Exploration Geophysicist.

Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, as a Specialist Exploration Geophysicist you will be responsible for handling complex geological assignments and reporting to the Geoscience Manager.

Duties/responsibilities:
* Evaluating the petroleum system elements.
* Geological wireline log interpretation.
* Seismic interpretation and prospect maturation.
* Basin and play analysis.
* Structural geology.
* Resource classification.

Essential Skills/Qualifications:
* A degree in Geology (or science related qualification).
* A minimum of 15 years' experience.
* Full expertise in the life of field cycle.

Desirable Skills/Qualifications:
* Deep water and offshore experience.
* Familiar with Clastic and Carbonate reservoirs.
* Experience with unconventional projects
