Job Description
Our client is a reputable and large operator with projects all over the globe. They are currently looking for a Senior Geophysicist for their office in Aberdeen in the United Kingdom. The successful candidate will be focusing on the clients projects in West Africa, hence similar experience would be desirable.
The main responsibilities for the role include:
· Conduct Seismic interpretation tasks using Landmark and Petrel workstations.
· Responsible for Geophysical tasks within the team.
· Geological model support
· Well planning, generation and management of a well inventory portfolio
As the successful candidate you will have experience of working in a multidisciplinary team environment, with a strong knowledge of AVO and rock physics, strong interpretation skills, risk analysis and be experienced in supervising contractor studies. Also, Development experience is a MUST.
Candidates with a strong Geological background and experience with Landmark/ Petrel are also sought after.
