PRINCIPAL OPERATIONS GEOLOGIST / OPERATIONS TEAM LEAD
STAVANGER, NORWAY
CIRCA £120,000. PA + VARIABLE ANNUAL BONUS + CAR ALLOWANCE
One of the industries largest consultancy firms is seeking a Principal Operations Geologist to join their Norwegian based Operations team.
Individual will be responsible for Operations G&G team, working across multidisciplinary teams.
The role is primarily set in the Operations sphere, but applicants with an awareness of exploration and development geology will be at a distinct advantage.
This position will require an experienced team leader, who can set up and successfully manage their own operational geological sub team.
Key Responsibilities
-Geological evaluation of North Sea & NCS assets
-Acting in a team lead guise, responsible for sub-team of operational geologists
-Provide expert seismic analysis and regional play analysis
-HPHT well analysis and evaluation on mature assets
-Well planning
-Pore Pressure
-Mentoring of junior team members
-Work closely with several other subsurface divisions, Reservoir Engineers & Geophysical
Profile
Minimum of 8 Years Industry Experience
Must have experience of a similar role with an Operator background.
Must have trackable record of project work within the UKCS or NCS
Current knowledge of industry standard technology
Firm understanding of all facets of the Operations sector.
