Geophysicist - Seismic Interpreter
based in Budapest / Szolnok / Nagykanizsa, Hungary
Aim of the role:
To independently carry out the technical tasks of exploration, development, and production projects both in the preparatory and operational phases. To coordinate activities within his/her own technical field as well as with related technical areas. To represent his /her professional area within and outside the company.
Tasks
Applies and develops at high level the proper oil industry methodologies in the analysis, modeling and interpretation of data as a basis for implementation of exploration, development, and production projects and their evaluation.
Controls the collecting of basic analytical, interpretative, and evaluative data required for the implementation and completion of projects and the construction of project databases. Responsible for the technical content and quality of analyses and modeling.
Independently carries out highly complex, integrated analyses, modeling, and interpretations within and beyond his/her technical field.
Represents his/her technical field at decision preparation and decision-making forums.
Manages the compilations of project and project evaluation documentations (analyses, reports, evaluations, plans). Responsible for the adequacy and completeness of data and information supplied.
Coordinates the activity of teams within and beyond his/her technical field.
Controls documentations supporting the decision making processes. Prepares the professional decision trees pertaining to projects.
Take part in making professional decisions pertaining to operative and project management in the course of project implementation.
