We are currently representing an Independent E&P organisation with presence in theUKandWest Africa, who are seeking a talented professional for the role of Geologist, to join their London-based team. This is an organisation with strong asset portfolio focused on gas exploration and monetisation and it is a role which will also involve some travel to the operations site, inWest Africa.
Key Requirements
The core requirements of the role are:
-10+ years of experience in a geologist role, ideally from an operator background
-Expert in sequence stratigraphy, sedimentology and reservoir modelling
-In addition to the above, you would have also been widely exposed to a range of geophysical activities such as: seismic interpretation, well-to-seismic tie, AVO and seismic attributes and pettrophysical analysis( interpretation and log analysis)
-Highly experienced with clastic reservoirs and depositional environments
-West African experience would be highly advantageous;
Job Description

This is an organisation with strong asset portfolio focused on gas exploration and monetisation and it is a role which will also involve some travel to the operations site, inWest Africa.
You will have primary responsibility for the geological understanding of the current asset portfolio as well as reviewing and evaluating new ventures and will work across: Exploration, Development and Production. Whilst your core area of responsibility will be Geology, you will be also involved in activities that cut across Geophysics and Petrophysics.

- 10+ years of experience in a geologist role, ideally from an operator background
