Job Description
Explorationist Team Lead - Perth 200K - 260K AUD + Package
My client is an expanding international oil and gas operator with an extensive portfolio of exploration interests. They are looking for a driven individual to join their dedicated team as an Explorationist working on exploration projects.
Working as part of a must-disciplinary team the candidate will need to be versatile and capable of undertaking a range of duties. The successful candidate will be responsible for the assessment of both existing exploration acreage and New Venture opportunities. These will include the generation of new prospects, regional exploration and carrying out risk assessments. Seismic interpretation is an important part of the role and therefore the ability to evaluate 3D and 2D seismic datasets is essential.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience and possess qualities such as:
*10+ years of experience including some work for a highly reputable operator
*Experience working in a wide range of international locations, predominantly offshore
*Candidates must be degree qualified in a Geoscience discipline
*Strong knowledge of basin evolution and geological concepts
*Experience working in deepwater clastic environments
