For our client, a commodity trading company based in Switzerland, we are looking in the upcoming weeks for an experienced petrophysicist to join a newly created E&P department on a defined project.
Job Description
Your Mission
- ? Working with other members to carry out all stages of petrophysical data preparation including, loading, checking, depth-matching, editing, making environmental corrections and merging of logging runs
- ? Producing comprehensive computer processed interpretations
- ? Key contributor to the assessment of exploration project volumetrics
- ? Developing recommendations and justifications for data acquisition
- ? Tackle a technical role in integrated projects & be responsible for petrophysical work content and quality
- ? Strategic research and technology development
- ? Support use and development of in-house Rock Mechanics Analysis program
- ? Support strategic research and technology development initiatives
Your Profile
- ? Master's Degree in Petrophysics or higher (PhD)
- ? 8+ years of experience with petrophysical applications
- ? Experienced in petrophysical operations and petrophysical evaluation & interpretation in an integrated project environment
- ? Experience with working on a range of reservoir types at different stages of development
- ? Should have a sound grasp of the latest PP technologies and hands-on experience with reservoir modelling and integrated workflows
- ? Must be current with latest industry tools, techniques and best practices for the integration of petrophysical and geological analysis
- ? Ability to interact and work effectively with cross-functional teams
- ? Strong project management and project coordination skills
- ? Strong written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills
- ? Fluent in French and English, other language an asset
