URGENT: Working for an integrated Energy Company on a flexible Contract for up to 8 weeks at a time, on site in Madrid and conduct approximately 2-3 trips a year...Working in a multi-disciplinary subsurface team you will be responsible for undertaking seismic interpretation predominately on UAE assets. Applicants invited with 10 years’ min industry experience, a broad exploration geophysical interpretation background combined with a good understanding of the structure and stratigraphy of UAE fields. Preference will be given for Petrel users and those that have worked in UAE. This is an ideal role for a contractor looking for flexibility....The Energy Company Client is focused on exploration and production, as well as refining, distribution and trade of energy products worldwide....Potential for additional contracting roles....
Key Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
• A degree in a geoscience related subject essential. MSc/PhD in Geophysics highly desired.
• A minimum of 10 years oil and gas industry experience essential.
• Previous experience working in UAE desired.
• Familiarity with the structure and stratigraphy of Abu Dhabi fields essential.
• Proven experience of working with Petrel software desired.
• Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English – effective reporting essential
• Enjoys working as part of an integrated, multi-disciplinary team.
• The ability to be self-sufficient and vigorous in your work.
• Flexible – can commit to up to 8 weeks onsite for 2 to 3 trips (circa 25-30 working weeks)
