Job Description


Senior New Ventures Geoscientist

My client is leading international Exploration oil and gas company seeking individuals at the Senior level to join their team at their exciting London offices. The selected candidate will have extensive experience looking at New Ventures in Africa or SE Asia.

This position will allow for the opportunity to work within a dynamic and successful oil and gas business who offer great career development and salary packages.

Must have Qualifications:
*10+ years of oil and gas experience
*Extensive New Ventures / Exploration background
*Must have experience looking at areas in SE Asia OR Africa
*Data room experience essential

Job Scope:
*Lead overall G+G assessments of new venture opportunities
*Lead regional play analysis
*Provide technical advice and support to senior management, new ventures and commercial groups
*Mentoring and training of junior staff members

This role will offer the selected candidate to work on newly acquired acreage within regions in Africa and SE Asia.
