Location: Austria



The Bridge Energy has been assigned by an international operator to secure the hire of a Senior Geologist (Seismic Interpretation, Structural Geology) to be based in an attractive location in Europe.


Key Requirements


MSc Geology (Structural Geology)
Strong experience in seismic interpretation; very good knowledge of structural styles and experience in application of relevant software; very good English command, German knowledge is a plus, team oriented


Job Description


Interpret 2D and 3D seismic data sets with the standard software package and integrate with structural restoration and modeling; validate HC traps and fault seals

Validate / develop new exploration concepts based on a thorough understanding of structural geology

Apply structural and sedimentological / facies interpretation of seismic attributes, coherency processed data, etc.

Evaluate and apply advanced seismic interpretation methods and technologies

Attend and contribute to Peer Reviews, TCM's, Tollgate Reviews, accompany dataroom evaluation teams whenever requested;

Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to in-house training
