Job Description


Geomechanic - Brunei - Competitive Salary + Expat Package

My client is a large international oil and gas operator with a strong global presence. They are expanding through the Asia Pacific region and as a result are looking to grow a number of their teams. They are seeking an experienced Geomechanic to join their office based in Brunei.

The Geomechanic will hold various responsibilities, some of these have been listed below:

*Provide Geomechanics technical support for field development
*Define Geomechanic workplans to support all assets required
*Help to build and grow the Geomechanics team
*Work closely with asset teams to assess the level of Geomechanic support required

To carry out these tasks effectively the ideal candidate will already hold certain skills and experience. Some of these have been given below:

*7+ years of experience working in the oil and gas industry
*Previous experience working for a large operator is preferable
*Strong focus in HSE
*Knowledge of operational geology and well operations
*Experience coaching and mentoring junior staff is preferable
*Pore pressure predictions skills

This position provides the opportunity to relocate to the stunning country of Brunei. You will receive a competitive salary as well as an expat package.
