Job Description
My client is a large international oil and gas operating company. They have an impressive portfolio of production assets around the globe and are looking to grow their team. They are seeking an experienced Production Seismologist with 10+ years of experience to join their office based in Brunei, SE Asia.
The successful Production Seismologist will be responsible for providing seismological/geophysical support to the development and near field exploration teams in order to optimize hydrocarbon production. You will work as part of a multi-disciplined team alongside Petroleum Engineers, Reservoir Engineers etc. Key responsibilities will include integrating 4D seismic interpretation with production data and existing static models in order to identify opportunities for further production.
The successful candidate will already hold certain skills and experience. Some of these have been listed below:
*10 - 15 years of experience working in the oil and gas industry
* A university degree in a relevant Geophysical discipline
*Ability to work well as a part of a multi-disciplined team
*Previous experience mentoring and coaching junior staff
*Experience in 3D interpretation (4D as well would be preferable)
*Previous experience working in structurally complex environments
*Experience in static reservoir modelling
