Location: Austria
Oil and Gs industrial Engineering multinational is seeking a Senior Geological Stabilization Engineer
to Austria (candidates must be authorized to stay and work permanently in the target country).
Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with codes and standards relevant to construction and geology. Advantages: experience with pipeline design and engineering software, pipeline construction background. Fluent in English required.
Key Requirements
• University/college degree and a minimum of 5 years relevant professional experience
• Experience with pipeline design and engineering software is of advantage
• Experience in Pipeline Construction is an advantage
• Hands-on experience with codes and standards relevant to construction and geology
• Ability to work effectively under tight schedules
• Highly self-motivated personality with good working attitude, high level of professionalism and integrity
• Interpersonal skills and ability to interact with people of all levels, team player
• Hands-on experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, Project
• Fluent spoken and written English

Senior Geological Stabilization Engineer
based in Austria
Your responsibilities:
• All civil and underground engineering aspects relevant for Pipeline construction, including:
o Design of 3rd party infrastructure crossings (such as roads, rail, watercourses)
o Design of ground and slope stabilization installations
o Design of erosion control measures (slope sections)
o Design of anti-buoyancy measures
o Design of working-shaft strutting, sheet piling
• Interpretation and assessment of geological, hydrogeological, geotechnical and seismic data
• Review and verification of design documents provided by Contractors
• Optimization of technical solutions based on recommendations provided by contractors
• Liaising with the companies, in-country organizations and local engineering teams
• Undertake site visits to verify and optimize the construction
• Provide comparative analyses of optional technical solutions (Alternative studies) for decision making
• Liaising with the environmental team to ensure environmental feasibility of construction related impacts
• Supervising design compliance to projects quality policies, standards and procedures
