My client is currently searching for suitable candidates with strong geophysical and programming knowledge to be based in Houston. The main responsibility of the Research Geophysicist will be to develop new geophysical imaging technologies and applications and they will also be responsible for providing relevant technical support.

Strong LINUX systems knowledge

My client is currently searching for suitable candidates with strong geophysical and programming knowledge to be based in Houston. The main responsibility of the Research Geophysicist will be to develop new geophysical imaging technologies and applications and they will also be responsible for providing relevant technical support.

Additional Job Responsibilities:
Developing new geophysical technologies
Ensuring company applications are run as effectively as possible
Conducting high-level industry research
Technical support
Mentoring junior colleagues as necessary

Applicant Requirements:

Geophysical and geological understanding
Excellent problem solving skills and analytical abilities
Clear communication skills

Education Requirements:
Master's Degree in relevant field (e.g. Geophysicst, Physics, Engineering)
