Exploration Geologist - Sydney, Australia - Competitive Salary + Package

My client is an international oil and gas company with interests in both exploration and development. The client is operational in several international locations and is seeking a motivated candidate to join their exploration team based in Sydney, Australia.

The successful candidate will join the office as an Exploration Geologist. They will have a strong technical background in basin evaluations on a regional scale as well as having core skills in 2D and 3D seismic interpretation and basin modeling.

The role will cover a wide range of aspects, including the identification and evaluation of prospects, basin analysis reviews, corporate acquisitions and farm-ins.

The successful Exploration Geologist will have a collection of skills and experience; some of these have been listed below:

*8+ years of experience working in the oil and gas industry
*International experience working for a large operator
*A university degree in Geoscience or similar (an advanced degree is preferable)
*Hands-on seismic interpreter
