Exploration Geophysicist Vacancy - Large Operator - Perth - Competitive Salary & Package

My client is a successful large oil and gas operator. They have international assets and operate in a number of countries around the globe. They are currently seeking a Geophysicist with at least 5 years of experience to join their ambitious team based in Perth, Australia. The successful candidate will have a collection of skills and experience, some of which have been listed below:

*A BSc Degree in Geophysics as a minimum
*A competent user of Seiswork (Landmark) amongst other interpretation tools
*A good understanding of exploration geology and all aspects of geophysical techniques
*Very good verbal and written communication skills
*Ability to work well as part of a multi-disciplinary team

The successful Geophysicist will join the Exploration division and will report to the Head of Geophysics and New Ventures. The candidate will act as a major contributor, providing evaluation with regards to the exploration potential of new venture prospects. They will carry out Interpretation of both 2D and 3D seismic data on a regular basis to help determine the operator's future exploration strategy.

The Geophysicist will also be involved with the identification of new leads and play prospects as well as making recommendations for further acreage capture.
