A recognised leading provider of specialist services in gravity and magnetic geophysics to oil exploration companies worldwide seek an Interpretation Group Manager to lead an integrated geoscience team of 8 interpreters in the production of geological models for prospect evaluation for clients globally.


Key Requirements


Requirements: geoscience related degree…Min of 6 years’ experience interpreting exploration data preferably multi-exploration data such as seismic, well, gravity or/and magnetic. Full training will be provided as required. Strong client facing skills…role offers a great deal of scope and opportunity with great career prospects to move into a more senior level management role….

Job Overview: Working for a recognised leading provider of specialist services in gravity and magnetic geophysics to oil exploration companies worldwide you will lead an integrated geoscience team of 8 interpreters in the production of geological models for prospect evaluation for clients globally. Applicants are invited with a strong geophysical or/and geological background, proven interpretation of exploration data (e.g. seismic, well, gravity, or/and magnetic) and strong leadership skills. Full training in gravity and magnetic interpretation provided as required. You will manage a range of challenging and exciting global projects covering mature and new frontier basins. Leading your team who will produce geological models that will be used for prospect evaluation by clients...presenting your team’s work to the clients regularly…working on concurrent projects across a variety of basins and continents – from complex thrust belts to rift basins…
