Job Description

Senior Mine Geologist

Location: Western Australia

My client is a well-known international mining and natural resources company and they are currently looking for a Senior Mine Geologist for one their prestigious Iron Ore projects in Western Australia.

As a Senior Mine Geologist, you will report to the Geology Manager. Your main responsibilities are to provide leadership and mentoring to the Grade Control team, as well as planning, scheduling and direct supervision of all grade control functions to maximise the profitable extraction of resources in a safe, timely and cost effective manner.

The ideal candidate should have:
*A Bachelor degree in Geology or the relevant discipline
*Experience in Open Pit Mine Geology with grade control responsibilities
*Experience in mentoring and leading others
*Exploration or Development experience is advantageous
*Driver's license for Western Australia is highly desirable
