Job Description

As Geodata Specialist your main responsibilities will include
Main point of contact for all seismic loading to OpenWorks/SeisWorks and Petrel project repositories.
Ensuring seismic data integrity & availability in project repositories.
Manipulating and transfer of data between application suites.
Seismic storage usage/monitoring.
Enforcing data standards and good data management practices
Also required to be cover for:
Transfer of seismic data to partners.
Seismic data searches, retrieval & archive
Ensuring regulatory compliance
Skills / Education/ Competencies:
Ideally degree level geoscientist with significant industry experience.
Full understanding of seismic data life cycle
Landmark seismic data management (preferably R5000) with experience in 2D and 3D data loading.
Recent Petrel data management and application experience.
Strong knowledge of seismic workflows and dataflows.
Problem solving & troubleshooting abilities.
GGRE applications, Landmark Suite (OpenWorks/Seisworks/Geoprobe), Petrel, & Database Knowledge
Some seismic processing experience may be an advantage
UNIX & Disk Management
