Post Residual Magnetism in Pipes
Can anyone give me an number for the level of residual magnetism in pipes that have been worked repeatedly, due to the earth's magnetic field?

thanks

30 Gauss is typical for most pipes that have not been worked repeatedly. It can thus be higher or lower but 30 is the most common spec requirement for standard pipe. Don't know how this changes over time and through use though?
