Nevermind! I've done some thinking, and without Boi, I've got the below ground volume in space instead of surface volume, and then pore volume.

Hi there, This is a really daft question, but I just need to check something with some of you: I know that STOIIP (m3) is calculated by Vb*phi*(1-Sw)/Boi. If someone asks me to calculate Vb*phi*(1-Sw) without the division by Boi and also just Vb*phi, what am I getting? OIP, as is in the ground prior to production and total pore volume? Thanks. |
