Post Calculations
Hi there,

This is a really daft question, but I just need to check something with some of you:

I know that STOIIP (m3) is calculated by Vb*phi*(1-Sw)/Boi. If someone asks me to calculate Vb*phi*(1-Sw) without the division by Boi and also just Vb*phi, what am I getting? OIP, as is in the ground prior to production and total pore volume?

Thanks.

Post Re: Calculations
Nevermind! I've done some thinking, and without Boi, I've got the below ground volume in space instead of surface volume, and then pore volume.

Thankyou to anyone who intended on replying :)

Georgina
