Post subject: | Advice about portable spectral gamma ray spectrometers |
We have started to develop a research project focused in the study of bituminous limestones in N spain and we would like to use gamma-ray logs measured in quarry outcrops to identify organic-rich intervals in the stratigraphic succession. We need to acquire a portable gamma ray spectrometer for it but we have not enough experience. There are several portable gamma ray spectrometers in the marked. We are considering GMS310 and GMS311 Spectral Gamma Loggers produced by JCS ( http://www.johncaunt.com/products/gms310/, http://www.johncaunt.com/gms311/ ) as an option. Does any of you have worked with GMS310 and GMS311 spectral gamma ray tools or have an opinion about them? Any information will be very useful for us We would like to thank you in advance for your help, Best regards, Óscar |
