Post IP and Geolog Comparison
I would like to start the comparison topic between IP and Geolog software: advantages, disadvantages, frequency of use. Expressed the comment in terms of: Fast, Robust, flexible, powerful, what is or are the powerful modules, friendly, etc..

IP is powerful for Cement evaluation, NMR, pore pressure, Monte Carlo analysis, mineral solve and facies rock Type. Do not have an Acoustic, Thin Beds Analysis and Texture Analysis from Image modules.
IP, according with several experiences is more easy and friendly and also faster, all procedures are integrated in one windows wile Geolog seem to be more complex, the use and the access to several modules and procedures are more complex
