I 'll abvise you purchase a book on Inversion marketed by Society of Petroleum Engineers. THe book is written in straightforward presentation and I believe it will throw a lot of light on this topic. Below are the details.

You 'll need to do some investigation on these 3 software options and even explore the possibility whether any one of the Companies has a Training/Academic software versions (with trial data on them) which they may be selling at highly discounted prices.
