Post subject:  Creating vertical varying gridcell sizes in Petrel

Hey guys,

I have tried the 'create trends option' in the pillar gridding process to create different cell sizesdistributions throughout my pillar grid. However, it creates a 3-D grid with irregular geometry, while I just want rectangular cells with different sizes (so I can make pressure drop calculations along a horizontal well bore). I now how to refine the cells spatially, but can't find a way to do it vertically.
Is there any other option in Petrel that allows me to do this?

thanks

Vikesh
