Post subject:  ArcGis to Petrel

Hello members,

Can anybody help me with how I can import shape files and other GIS objects into Petrel? What is the best way to export from GIS and what parameters should I use to import in Petrel? Are there good plugins that can do this automatically. So when GIS updates, Petrel does also do so automatically?
Sorry if this is not that clear, but I hope you can help me!

thank you!

exist efficient plugs-in to import data of AcrGis's shape files, you must contact to SLB sales and they will sell it.

It depends on what type of shapefiles you want to import. If it's points you just need to put the XY in the attribute table then export it into ascii and import into petrel. For lines and polygons I usually do the same - convert them into points then import.
