I am a beginner in sequence stratigraphy, just had some questions:
1) What are the present challenges of sequence stratigraphy in which researches are going on?
2) Is Sequence stratigraphy applicable for a basin with a complex fault-fold geometry? And can such structurally complex basin be potentionally good candidate for hydrocarbon exploration?
It would be of great help if you guys can enlighten me.......
