Re: Petrophysical Software Room
I don't have a lot of experience with all these software packages as I'm manily concerned with geophysics, but I've been using techlog in the past. I believe most software can do the same, and more important is the knowledge and skill of the petrophysicist to quickly identify the necessary analysis and calculations. There are so many analysis one can do on log suites and many different methods that will result in the same petrophysical property (like porosity) that the inexperienced may get lost in the 'crossplot jungle'.
Which package are you using?
